Martin Luther King's birthday is a federal holiday.

Staff will be in-service on this day to fulfill a part of the state's requirement for annual professional development hours.

Ankeny Community Schools start one hour later each Wednesday to allow teachers time to focus on and collaborate regarding student performance data and achievement, as well as teacher professional development.
